The Paris Food Edit (English)

My curated guide to eating, drinking, shopping & experiencing Paris.

Paris has always felt like more than a place to me.

It’s the kind of city that makes me slow down, sit at a café for longer than planned, walk without knowing exactly where I’m going, stop somewhere for a glass of wine, and notice all the little things happening around me.

I’ve spent enough time in Paris to discover the places I keep coming back to: the cafés I love, the restaurants I bring friends to, the shops where I always find something, the neighbourhoods I love to wander through, and the walks I never get tired of.

So I created The Paris Food Edit to share my Paris with you.

This is not a tourist checklist. It’s my personal edit of the places I genuinely love and the experiences I would actually choose myself.

I’ve organized the guide by neighbourhood because I think Paris is best experienced one area at a time. Pick a neighbourhood, choose a few places that catch your eye, and let the rest of the day unfold.

INSIDE THE GUIDE

My favourite Paris neighbourhoods

I take you through some of the parts of Paris I love most, including Le Marais, Saint-Germain, Montmartre, the Latin Quarter, the Eiffel Tower area, the 11th arrondissement and the Louvre, Tuileries & Place Vendôme.

My favourite cafés, restaurants & bars

From specialty coffee and matcha to classic Parisian cafés, long lunches, wine bars, cocktails and special-occasion restaurants.

My favourite shops

I’ve included boutiques, French fashion, beauty, books, design, vintage and little shops I think are worth discovering while you’re there.

My personal favourites

In each neighbourhood, I’ve highlighted the places and experiences I love most, the ones I would recommend to a friend coming to Paris.

6 of my favourite Paris walks

I’ve created six walks for different kinds of Paris days, from the classic Louvre → Tuileries → Place Vendôme → Saint-Germain route to a slow afternoon in Montmartre or an evening walk towards the Eiffel Tower at golden hour.

My Paris rituals

This is the part of Paris I love most: morning coffee on a terrace, getting lost in the Marais, browsing bookstores, stopping at a market, a glass of wine at sunset, long lunches and simply staying a little longer.

THIS GUIDE IS FOR YOU IF...

You’re travelling to Paris and want more than a list of tourist attractions.

You want to discover the places I actually love rather than spend your trip rushing from one landmark to the next.

You love cafés, great food, wine, beautiful shops, neighbourhood walks and finding your own favourite places along the way.

You want some recommendations to guide you, but still want enough freedom to let Paris surprise you.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE GUIDE

36 pages of my personal Paris recommendations, including food, cafés, drinks, shopping, neighbourhoods, walks and favourite moments.

It’s a digital PDF, so you can save it to your phone and take it with you as you explore.

I hope it helps you experience Paris a little more slowly, a little more beautifully, and perhaps fall in love with it the way I did.

À bientôt,
Jenny 🤍
